This is a great recipe, but I’ve had to tweek the recipe as been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes recently. Where I’ve used sugar free maple syrup and sweetener. And used gluten free flour or wholemeal flour and it works beautifully.

Unfortunately my gochujang paste had gone mouldy so this was made without the final sticky sauce but the fried/seasoned chicken was so tender and delish! I also made the Asian slaw to go with it! Thank you

I confess. I bought the fried chicken, but I made the sauce according to the recipe. Wow, that is one delicious accompaniment to the bird and would also make a delightful stir fry sauce for vegetables or noodles.
